Cadbury Eyebrow Dance

I'd first saw this advert on the bus on the way down from Stanley Market in HK towards Central. My head was spinning due to the loooong day and the bad driving skills of the bus driver, but it was so amusing I forced myself to stay awake to watch the whole ad!

Enjoy!

Shower YOUR HEAD!!

Now, there's one thing that I reaaaaaaaaally cannot tolerate, and that is..

A Lousy Shower Head!!

The shower head in the photo already very good. Ya' know wat kinda shower head I have? It's really terrible.. It's.. It's.. It's.. so weak I can't even wash the shampoo out from my hair properly! Showering becomes a tedious and lengthy process, and I have to spend more than twice the time required for a normal shower. Every morning I walk out of the house looking like this!

Egad.

You know, how important it is for folks like you and me, me and you, to take a good shower? Showering is so beneficial, so essential, so faaaaaaabulous! And it's good for your body too!
Quoting EarthClinic:

Cold showers have the following positive effects:
1) Brings blood to the capillaries, therefore increasing circulation throughout the body.
2) Cleans the circulatory system.
3) Reduces blood pressure on internal organs.
4) Provides flushing for the organs and provides a new supply of blood.
5) Strengthens the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems.
6) Contracts the muscles to eliminate toxins and poisonous wastes.
7) Strengthens the mucous membranes, which help resist hay fever, allergies, colds, coughs.
I guess (1) and (2) are related points, a result from the skin's capillaries expanding and constricting. (3) and (4) sound a bit exaggerated. For the remaining points I dun really understand them, and I dunno if they are true or not, but I think they're cool.

However for ladies, EarthClinic also warns that:

"Cold showers should not be taken during a women's time of menstruation. A woman needs extra rest and gentleness during her menses.

"A lukewarm shower is recommended. Generally speaking, hot showers are not good as they tend to depress the various physiological systems of the body."

So, ya.

Shower, y'all!

I'm saving up for this baby, this is where I want to sanitize myself.

And I'm gonna replace that shower head, with this exciting 'un! It's supposed to have fabulous massage functions.

In the meanwhile.. I'm gonna go try and fix my shower head. Irks.

Pish Posh VS Riff Raff

I have met my match today.

Pushy and I went for dindin earlier and I fancied a lil' Thai Schmai. Pushy hasn't been there before, so I led the way and got it all wrong.

And then we found ourselves at Ma Maison, Bugis. It's the first time we're there. Ma Maison's a pretty little place, nice ambience, but I think a little too little. It was a weeny-bit too riff-raff for my liking and a little noisy. No pix, sorry, no mood for pix.

Anyways we ordered food. A couple then came in after, and sat beside us. The place was sooo tiny and our seats sooo close, we 2 couples were easily eavesdropping on each others' conversations.

The most irritating thing abt their conversation was that the guy was actin' so pish-posh, talkin' bout the meat quality, the wateva wateva dunno wat, painfully articulating each word with precision. In contrast, his date was speaking comfortably in relaxed enggrish. So, the conversation sounded weird and awkward.

I say, is there a need for this? Relax la, it's not as if the girl'll be grading him or his qualities based on how many words he properly enunciates. Damn poser.

Oi! Why u so like that ar?
Eh, why u so like that?
Eh, why u so like that ar?
Hey Y u So LiKe ThAt?!?!
- quoting Kopi Kat Klan. Kopi Kat Klan is Kool.

p.s. Ma Maison, a lil' over-rated eh?! using the key to replace a bill is the silliest gimmick i've seen. eesh.

Polly, Palak Paneer and the Electric Piano

Polly had a punishable day at work, so she needed a little fun and comfort. Polly visited Pushy to play games and watch tele together, and for dinner they ordered Palak Paneer from Brinda's.

Brinda's was new to Polly and Pushy. They learnt of it while running a search on Google, and saw that the delivery hotline was available 24h. The online Brinda's menu offered North Indian cuisine at afforable prices. Click the Brinda's logo for the contact number and menu.

Polly's rating for Brinda's is as follows:
  • Convenience: 5/5
  • Service: 4/5
  • Waiting time: 2/5 (Brinda's took 1.5h to arrive and Polly was starving when it did)
  • Deliciousness: 3/5
Dunno what Pushy has to say about his Brinda's.

Meal-time entertainment was Seinfeld. Pushy loves Seinfeld. Polly loves Pushy. So Polly loves Seinfeld.

After the food, Pushy wanted to brog. Pushy had earlier discovered the game Portal, so Pushy wanted to write about it. Polly was a little bored, so Polly went and fiddled with the electric piano Pushy has in his den.

Polly's love for piano had rekindled! But she sux at it.
O well, Polly's determined to play THIS. Sux or not.

Inspirations

Inspirations hit you at the most inappropriate of times.

Like when you are supposed to be working.
Like when you are supposed to be sleeping.
Like when you are in the shower.
Like when you are out with no pen or paper at paw.

Dang it.
Polly is sleepery and dozing off. ToBeContd... .. .
