Fooot Tabbing

Tabbing my foot as I eagerly anticipate the arrival of my beloved...

It's gotta have a name. All my stuff have names. When you name 'em you love them better.
I'm calling her Koollie. Still contemplating but Koollie sounds like a good deal. Anyone has better ideas?

Tainted World... the Legacy..

Humbug, my shampoo is now my conditioner as well.

No I wasn't attempting to create a 2-in-1 formula.

After using the tainted shampoo tainted conditioner followed by a conditioner routine, my hair feels a little over-conditioned.

Egad hope my hair doesn't all fall off in a week!!!

And then happy ending..

Tainted World...

I have this set of gym-sized shampoo and conditioner that I wanted to consolidate into the home-sized bottles coz my supplies of shampoo and conditioner were running low.

I began with this gym-sized shampoo, and squeezed it into the home-sized conditioner.

To my horror I realised I squeezed shampoo into conditioner. And I had too little conditioner to begin with!
NOW IT'S ALL TAINTED................

So my home-sized conditioner bottle now contains shampoo.

It took me a while to deliberate on my next move. Eventually I took the tainted conditioner and dumped allllllllll its contents into the home-sized shampoo.

So now I have tainted conditioner and tainted shampoo. I figured the shampoo's cleaning properties should still work with the conditioner inside.. Prolly less drying for the hair?

And then happy ending!

"Hi can I get your order?"

I don't know, can you?

See, Pushy took time out to bring me for luncheon today. We I wanted to see the new Nexus mall around the block so Pushy trailed along. We parked a looong way from the mall. Approaching the mall entrance there were about 55 people shoving brochures of different kinds into our faces. Spa & beauty.. Food.. Hair services.. Shoes.. Food.. Laundry.. More food.. Brochures of all genre.

We picked only the food ones and threw the rest away. Environmental amiability has gone to the dogs. Amongst the several food brochures a buffet high-tea one caught our attention. I like buffets. I like buffets but I feel bad suggesting to eat buffet when I know I tend to complain of over-eating after I do justice to the buffet. Pushy could tell all these from the little twitch at the corner of my eye... and then we found ourselves checking ourselves into the cafe.

The cafe.. I quite liked its ambience, it had a piney fragrance because everything was from Ikea - Land of Piney Smelling Furniture. Happily Joyfully and Gracefully, we informed the staff we will be having our buffet high tea, and proceeded to discuss the food order using the food order form provided to us.

(10min later)

One staff came and muttered something under her breath, something about the salad bar not being ready. That would indicate the high tea buffet was not available. She politely informed us that if we want to try their buffet we can come back tomorrow to try it. Otherwise if we wanted to try the buffet items today we could order them ala carte. Ho hum.

So ok we went back to the food brochure and decided to take the set lunch instead. We informed another staff and the staff informed us that the set lunch is not available because the salad bar was not ready. Sigh.

Deterred, Pushy and I looked around to find food inspirations from other tables. To our horror and amazement, no one at other tables had managed to order anything - there was no food. We were all sitting there like ducks. Sitting ducks.

Ok back to the menu. Ala carte section in the menu was fabulously done up, nice pictures & many words and good variety. I wonder how much of that was available. Anyway the prices were atrocious so Pushy and I ordered only the more worthy stuff.

All in all, I liked the piney smell of the place. And I think that's about it.

All in all in all, it is very strange to distribute the flyers selling promotional meals and then everything is unavailable and then pray that the customers will not order those. I wonder what the cafe management was thinking there. What a waste of time!   X(

Ho Hum.

Days of Lull

A lot had happened these several weeks so much so that I missed out on all the blogging.

Fun stuff include..

Participating the Standard Chartered run. I only had capacity for the 10km so I'm not going to show-off much around here. Also I got caught on those running paparazzi pictures looking super duper ugly. Aghh I am disappoint.

Here's some nicer shots for the good memory.

Baws brought a live Christmas tree to work and designated it to be seated next to me. Everyone helped dress it up. I'm learning to like talking to it since no one else's interested to talk to me. They don't have the capacity to deal with my witty-humour tsk tsk. I've liked it as my new friend ever since.

My team also joined forces and leveled up the office decor for Christmas. The social committee then got inspired by us and decided to conduct a best-decor team competition. So much for originality.

We won anyways. Not surprising since we totally had to work OT to put all these together.

And while we got busy in office, I thought I began to hallucinate when I saw these dancing mobile phones and had to do a double-take. The phones were bobbing to the groove of the dance tracks blasted on nearby speakers. Then they stopped and hugged each other. Lol infinity!

And then we had a team luncheon buffet-style at Carousel. On the same day we gathered round the Christmas tree and exchanged gifts. It was done earlier since there were people taking holidays over the subsequent days before year end.

In the midst of all these office action, Pushy and I attended a really entertaining wedding lunch on a Sunday afternoon.

The theme was Alice in Wonderland.

Also I attended Owl's wedding dinner. So many weddings occurring towards year end I wonder why? Owl's hubby was a funny chap. Cute couple.

Congratulations to the lovely couples and I wish them good blessings.
