My Weekend.

My weekend, mine all mine!
Bwahahahaha...

I slept as much as I liked, I dated as long as I wanted, I shopped wherever pleased me and ate whatever I wanted and even bought home a bagful of snek snek snek!

Pushy accompanied me the whooooole day then had to go home do work. Hmm I do have some work at the back of my head also but I think today I won't bother my pretty little head with these.

I'm so happy with my loot. See which snek u like?

Muji Kimchi Ramen?

Lotte chestnut cream dessert cakes?

Lotte caramel cream dessert cake?

Meiji matcha acorn cookies?

Or this?
Kanikko chillied baby crabs?
Actually I feel a little bad eating them coz it's like I killed so many babies...

But they taste rather good.. Anyway I feel guilty after eating them I think next time I won't buy this again..

I can always buy all the other goodies to eat!

Doggie-bag It: The Faceshop Vitamin E mask

Continuing to loiter online while waiting for my The Faceshop Vit E face mask nutrients to be osmosized into my skin. Note osmosized is wrong in spelling/grammar because there is no verb for 'osmosis' which is Quite Interesting to me. You can try googling it if you refuse to believe me.

The mask smells nice and feels nourishing. I don't know how to define 'feel nourishing' but I just manage to feel so. I think it might be due to me liking hard boiled eggs in my salad. Gah I'm feeling hungry now talking about hard boiled eggs.

This is how the Vitamin E mask looks like on the packet.

Tip on applying face masks - refrigerate them before use coz it's really a nice feeling to have something nice smelling and apparently nourishing and cold on your face. Feel relaxed now. Well even if it's not as nourishing as marketed, at least it smells nice and makes me happy,

Tip on applying face masks II - after you put the mask on try to lie down and not walk about too much. You want the nourishing fluid to be evenly distributed and not pulled to your chin by Gravity eventually dripping on to your t-shirt. Less you want a very nourished t-shirt.

Other tips on applying face masks can most probably be found on the back of the face mask packet so I will not bore you with the obvious details.

Cheers & time for bed.

Cabbage Grudge

So I've been heavily consuming vegetables these days for various reasons. Nagalot's been awfully patient with me, making my salad every night so I can bring it for lunch the next day. I'm wondering if she will let up anytime soon? Coz she's been really hardworking in making my salad and I wonder what's her motivation!

Nevertheless I love my Nagalot for pampering me with the salads. It's really good because she knows what I like and she makes them pretty too. I like all Nagalot salads............... except the one I had today which was made from shredded cabbage leaves...........

I bit into the stemmish part of the shredded cabbage leaf, and guess what, it's curved end attacked me in the nostril. No kiddin' it did. And it got stuck in my nostril for some seconds while I guffawed in disbelief and showed it to Timtam who sat right next to me. It didn't want to fall out and eventually I had to use my hands to pry it out of my left nostril.

Really stwange but awesome things cabbage leaves can do. You better believe cabbage can do funny things otherwise risk facing their wrath.

Copy and Paste into my ♥

My bonnie lies over the ocean,
My bonnie lies over the sea.

My bonnie lies over the ocean,
So bring back my bonnie to me!

The PushyPanda has landed, bringing fantabulous surprises back from the land of kimchi and bibimbap!

Sifting through my beloved sack of loot, my fav surprises are BoA's new Copy & Paste album and the little pwetty card holder from the Kitty Kat Korean brand Princess ChooChoo! How apt muaha this is my treasure. Pushy brought me many many nutritious face masks for my OT-drained skin, and bottles of serum and creams to make me look and remain chio!

Someone's copying & pasting happy little feelings into my ♥. Sweet, sweet, sweet!
Happy clam I am.

Every end is a new beginning & new Doggie-Bag It topic

That totally didn't make sense.

Did you know - I have recently discovered the FTW-ness of the Esc key. The Esc key is so powerful and wonderful my little left hand pinky will never feel the same without it.

Esc is a quick and convenient way to exit a Windows function window or drop-down list. Conveniently located within reach of my left pinky, I realise it saves me the time and effort to reach for my mouse and locate the X button to close windows that I accidentally open up or need for quick reference.

Linux users.. Not sure if it works for you, maybe you can feedback and let everyone know.

And did you realise the Poser blog lull is tapering to an end?
Hurrah for sanity!

XOXO

Yeowwch no more!

Yeah the pus has all decided to come out, sparing my eyelid from all that suffering!
Antibodies FTW!

Attended a dear friend's wedding dindin today. Pretty pretty bride. No pichas to show yet. I wish I could be pretty too!

Bah.. Am not totally ready for the heavy workload starting tmr.. I need a holiday right now right here.

Zzz..

Yeowwch.

The pain in my eyelid has decided to reveal itself, transforming into a gigantic swelling. With the left eyelid now double its regular size I'm left with 1.5 eye power to see the world in its 0.75 glory.

And so it goes...
Blink (ouch)
Blink (ouch)
Blink (ouch)
Blink (ouch)
Blink (ouch).... Blinking hurts

Such a pity I wanted to practice my eye makeup for a wedding dindin tmr. Looks like I'm in no condition for wearing any eye makeup. Ho hum.

Maybe with one half closed lid, everyone will think I'm winking at them tmr?

:DDDDD

Thursday is a Rhyme

Head is a ache, throat is a pain.
I take a medicine, panadol again?

2 days m.c., took only one.
So many meetings, totally not fun.

Work is a busy, emails aplenty
Hourly I receive, almost twenty.

Hair is a greasy, feet is a smelly
Work till my brain, turn to jelly.

Cough is a starting, blood is a tasting,
Looks like my blood cells are gone to wasting!

Happy Thursday.

Soldier Down!

Wow, totally knocked out today from a fever brought on by an infected throat. Back and neck and shoulders and hip and arms and thighs ached all over. Behaved like an invalid. Tried to work in the morning but had to visit the clinic for medical leave halfway coz of the sore throat and bodyaches.

Doctor gave me 2 days medical leave, but I think I'll try and go to work tmr if the bodyaches are gone and my temperature is ok. See I am such a dutiful employee. Boss please raise my pay!

I need to get well quickly and fight fight fight!
And now, time for more sleep..

Bob Geldof - I don't like Mondays

I don't like Mondays.
Now apply this to Tuesdays too..

Gah!
I need more holidays.

Don't think about the work, think about the money.

"Don't think about the work, think about the money."

Quoting words of wisdom from Nagalot.

And now for something completely unrelated. Today Pushy and I went to watch/hear the vroom vroom at the F1 race site. We didn't buy tickets so we walked along the fenced area to catch a glimpse of the vroom vroom zipping by. I like the red ones. And by the way, the sound they make is totally not vroom vroom but they sound more like they are shrieking. Shrek with eye.

I was starving and we couldn't see much of anything from behind the fence, so Pushy suggested it was nourishment time. We combed the rows of quay-side shophouses and ended up at Riverwalk Tandoori. Buffet was still on at 9.45pm, the last grab for buffet food was 11pm. So buffet was what we had. My nourishment palette consisted of a pile of poppadums and mutton chunks and mushroom/spinach mix and bryani rice and tofu thing and chicken bhartar.

Very satisfying indeed. And I totally reconsumed the calories I burned at today's run.

Awesome.

Colour trial - smokey

Oct, Nov & Dec months are speckled with wedding dinners and other celebrations. I tested out brown eyeshadow today to see how it goes so I can decide if I wanted to present brown shadowed eyes to members of my social circle.

I'm half hearted about this look, don't really think it suits me. Just wanted to put up a picha and collect some feedback.

And by the way every time I put on make up I find great difficulty in hiding my eyebags. Have digitally removed the eyebags from the picha because I feel very embarrassed to show you my gigantic and coloured eyebags.

Anyone an eyebag pro around here?

Blog Piping Unclogged

These days I find myself actively finding topics to blog about. This I believe is a good habit for me so I can be more aware of things happening around me and pen it down (minus the pen) in words. Hope by doing this I can remember things better also, else Pushy will say I act like I suffer from brain damage.

People who don't blog usually say they have no time or have nothing interesting to blog about. I agree with the first point but disagree with the second. No regular human will have nothing to blog about. In fact each day and experience is a blogging opportunity. I can blog about the point that people claim they have nothing to blog about and make this go on for as long as the text box allows - and this is something to blog about.

I believe the reason people say they have nothing to blog about is because they are of the opinion that an entry is worth blogging only when you have nice pichas to show. Pichas of places you go, people you meet, stuff you buy. If there are no pichas to post means life is boring means no point blogging about it.

Well I never.. no doubt pichas play an important role in capturing attention, they play only a supporting role, illustrating the content in the blog.

Like this.

The thing is if you were just wanting to upload pichas to your blog, it'll be much simpler doing it via facebook, and you can reach out to a wider audience.

Thus don't be shy to post entries consisting of words, words and more words. You might actually come across being very intellectual to pen down (minus the pen) your thoughts and opinions, putting in a lot of detail showing the high level of thinking you have put in on the subject.

And so, may the world blog with love and joy. May each and every blogger learn to appreciate the wonders of language and communication.

Cranberry juice gives you bad breath

So I've been having some problems with my little pearlies these days, and spent quite a bit on dental visits. I'm now very paranoid about dental hygiene.

One thing is for sure - there is no getting away with not brushing your teeth at least twice per day. Especially so if you like to snack on Pringles, nuts and muruku.

Hey by the way if you haven't been introduced, here are some awfully cool teeth.

Their names are ickle and Lardee. Did you hear 'bout their fishing trip? Sounds like they had a lot of fun. Didn't manage to get any fish though, poor guys.

Earlier in the evening where I had been there was a jug of cranberry juice. Those who partook in it developed bad breath after that. Hm, I'm not suggesting that cranberry juice be boycott. I think we should drink cranberry juice with a straw and wash down the cranberry traces with water. Drinking sweet stuff with straws protect your teeth ya.. Sipping water after cranberry juice also helps prevent bad breath and washes away the sugared saliva which again protects teeth.

So there you have it. All 2 cents worth.
Ending off with another cute picha (actually a series of cute pichas). G'night.

Totally not worth my leave

Totally been spending half a day doing work while on leave. Compounding excitement over the upcoming Qtr end delivers many emails to my humble little inbox.

Please make it stop!
Either that or increase my pay!

=)))))

Beary Fascinating

I've been rather hooked on Nat Geo Wild over the past 2 weeks with Poppadum spending more time at home than before. Poppadum (Y) documentaries coz he is a dude and doesn't like dramas. He also doesn't like the cynical type of comedy I watch coz he is not a cynical person. So Poppadum watches sports and documentaries.

I like watching bears on Nat Geo Wild. Grizzly bears are my fav segment now, simply because these bears look so cute when they stand on their hinds.

Bears are omnivores and most bears eat lots of fruit and roots (like i do) and are only opportunistic carnivores - which I believe means they are lazy to hunt because hunting is a lot of work.

If bears were humans.... hibernation months will most likely be a national holiday. Cheers.

Whose line is it anyway V QI

Can't decide which is better for watching on the train on the way to work and back. QI is more informative but Whose line is more funny. I could watch these 2 all day everyday (for 1 day) and not get bored!

Only thing is I feel a little wistful when watching vids on train cause that will mean I'll have to watch it on my badly cracked phone. Looking at the phone makes me sad because I will always remember the joy and excitement it's pretty little AMOLED 16M display had brought me........

Alas, it has all become a distant memory!!

Romantic bath

Our bathroom light was out since Saturday night. It antagonized me the whole Sunday because I was holding out as much as I could to avoid bathing in the dark. Naturally I couldn't go to bed without a bath after a whole Sunday's worth of activities. So eventually I bathed in virtual darkness except for the hint of artificial night-light entering through the little gap by the door slightly left slightly ajar.

I'm no fan of darkness. I like being in bright places. I can sleep with lights on too. This little bathroom light, or the lack of it, has caused me a fair bit of inconvenience.

Returning from work today, I was distraught to learn the light remains inactive. I made a racket and Poppadum came to my rescue. Poppadum did a little magic and made the bathroom seemed like a cosy little place to hangout.

Battery operated push-button lights were hung up on 2 opposite walls and a torchlight hung above the sink to facilitate teeth-cleansing. The bathroom was glowing in a gentle, cheerful manner happy to greet me. I was, too, genuinely happy to see it with cute little lights hung up. It was a little like bathing by the moonlight. Only this was enclosed. With doors. And a shower. Not forgetting the toilet bowl.

I was so intrigued by the bathing-in-the-moonlight that I was happy to groom my brows afterwards. Hurt like hell it did.

Happy to have a new blog template and restore the life to this little space.

Time for bed.

the day facebook was down.

the day facebook was down, birds hushed and flowers wilted.
babies wailed as the tears of the sky fell from the clouds.

the day facebook was down, mothers sighed and fathers drowned their sorrows.
the waves crashed upon the shore as lightning struck across the velvet sky.

the day that facebook was down.

the day facebook was down, my pimple popped and computer hung to its death.
the copier ran out of paper as emails get bounced back to my inbox.

the day that facebook was...
hey wait, its up again woot!

Back @ Ironforge

After several months of money wasting on my WoW subscription, I decided to suspend my subscription. I think to the date I suspended the account, I chalked up at least $300 of wasted subscription charges because I paid but didn't play.

So I suspended my account. Then I told Pushy, "sekali I suspend already then our guild members decide to start playing again".

All was quiet for a week. And then Pushy received a call informing that we WOULD be playing again.

(=__________=)

Haiz.
Sometimes in life it's better not so whammy yourself.
By the way, everyone, meet Chicchic, my new ugly warrior noob.

Blistering Bunions

Today I learnt that if I fancy a pair of symmetrical blisters on both heels, I should wear ankle socks to runrun.

On the contrary, if I fancy not to parade the streets with a matching pair of blisters on my heels, I should NOT wear ankle socks to runrun.

Fans, I want to warn you about socks like these:

They should not be worn when running. Because why? Because they are TOO low in comparison with your average running shoes. Thereby supplying you a pair of pretty matching blisters, that hurt. A lot. Especially during showers. Especially during showers when you soap your ankles.

Please bear in mind and bear on feet socks of such minimal length.

Otherwise.. Good luck.

I've got the blues.

A bad bout of it.
Really bad.

I want to go holiday. I wan.

Nites..

Pac-Man's 30th Anniversary!

There's probably 500000000000000 other entries by other bloggers on this already, but I'm still going to say eeeeeet!

Yesterday was Pac-Man's 30th Anniversary! Pac-Man was first released on the 22 May, 1980. In tribute to this arcade classic, Google messed up its standard Google icon just for the occasion! The geeks at Google never fail to amuse me with their kooky festive Google antics.

The Pac-Man Google special is still available now, I believe due to time difference between here and the US. And if you haven't realised, it's interactive!!! Ah, cute.

Somethingness in Nothingness

I can't sleep so might as well come here and talk to myself.

Basically tonight I have no inspiration to blog, nothing much to talk about. The only thing I want to say is that sometimes silence can be comfortable too.

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
That wasn't a comfortable one. We will try it again next time.

***

And so I say no one really does NOTHING.

The story goes.. I say "Hey wat's up?". You say "nothing". Then I will say "aren't you talking to me?"

Then you will give me this face (=_________________=)
But at least we aren't doing nothing.

See what I mean?
Take your time to ponder while I go and do this:

Lost as a Little Lamb

I spent the last many weekends of my life trying to make a new blog template. It didn't work out, so I have switched the whole thang to a default template as you can see right now.

Over this weekend I had a surge of ideas from the depths of my medulla oblongata in relation to a brand new blog template. I brain-stormed for layouts, colours, border designs, text design, concept.. only to find that my creative persona had drowned in the whirlpool of ideas. I can hear it in my ears.. The incessant slushing of ideas, going round and round in circles. I hear the crash of ideas against the breakwater of reality - ideas that can't be put into the template due to various skills, technical and situational limitations.

Alas.. the Master is now fatigued and weary (so fatigued, almost delusional). She shall now retire and continue the task in the dawn that is to come...

When I say dawn, I mean next when I am free.

Kthxbye.

Birthday Purse Handles =)

It's my birthday. Today I have decided to do something special for myself. I've decided to buy myself a Brand New...........................................

Purse Handle. Yes, purse handle.
People whom I hung around for the past 1 year should have been aware that I go to lunch with a very chic lunch pouch. People whom I hung around for the past 1 month would have been aware that my lunch pouch had went and got its handle broken. My lunch pouch had been living life on the wild side.

It went from this:

To this:
Yes yes, still gorgeous. But not so gorgeous when I have to hold the pouch by its broken handle like a dead rat, or when I have to hold the pouch between my arm and side of my torso dangerously close to the armpit region - makes me look very aunty.
Hence no longer could I tolerate this thing called Life, with my pouch handle broken.
Thus tonight I spent my night loitering the corridors and long hallways of Daiso and Spotlight (dismiss the hallways word, there are no hallways at Daiso and Spotlight, just high ceilings - which is a good thing because when you run a business, you always look for high ceilings - which is a symbol of good fengshui, or so they say......) in search of a broken pouch handle solution.
I originally considered the sturdy little lobster clasp in a humble oxidised brass colour.

Turns out that Daiso has only cheap looking parts and nothing that can compare itself with the above. Spotlight carries the product, but it was a nightmare looking for a packet of these because their product display painted a story of a 6 year-old's attempt to relief the storage rack of all its hung-up packages, and a subsequent storekeeper's desperate attempt to reinstate the duties of the storage rack by putting back all the packages to where they belong before the next 6 year-old comes along.

Quite determined to repair my pouch handle, I patiently seeked out a packet of lobster clasps amidst the mess and made my way to the check-out while I continued to check-out other handle solutions. Coincidentally, I found my way to the purse-parts section, and found this:
Bamboo knotted purse handles in Ebony from the Bag Chick series produced by Shamrocks.
I found it Quite Compatible with my pouch as the colour fits and the size fits. I quickly made my purchase and traded $15 bucks for a pair of purse handles. Didn't want to loiter no more, my bad ankle had started to hurt from all the walking.
I reached home, gobbled my dinner and began to zor gang. It wasn't easy coz Poppadum didn't have the right tools at home that I needed. Work would have been easier if I had 2 pairs of flat or long-nosed pliers. But I only had a cable cutter and a combination plier available.
Undeterred, I struggled with the metal links of the new purse handles while being careful not to apply too much strength in case I snip of some part of the links with the cable cutters. Mental note: to buy a pair of long / flat-nosed pliers at the next pasar malam that comes by.
And so the story goes...
Unconnected purse handle..
Connected purse handle!
And Princess Kooty lived happily ever after with her brand new-old pouch in hand.. The End.

Egad.

Today I did many interesting things around the house and feel really proud of myself.

I slept like a pig and woke up in the afternoon. Went grocery shopping with Nagalot and Poppadum to prepare for a tomorrow's good dinner. Gooey Gecko was kick-starting the major project at home while we shopped.

When we got home, I took a break and then helped Gooey Gecko and poppadum with giving the porch walls a white-wash - the major project. Gooey Gecko left shortly and I took over as the 'main guy'. Poppadum played the ássistant guy'role because it was almost evening time and Poppadum couldn't see clearly when the sunlight was dimming. Anyways we gave those walls our best! Walls look clean and nice now.

I trained myself to balance on the ladder while working. Now I'm no longer paranoid about tipping over at the top of the ladder. I found my balance........

I climbed that ladder a 100 times today for my next job after that painting project. Poppadum wanted new fluorescent bulbs in those porch lamps, so I helped with the ladder climbing part. I figured that if I fell, it would be easier for Poppadum to help me, rather than I help him. Then also I figured.. I didn't want to fall.

Well the first lamp went well (I have 2 porch lamps) but the 2nd had a little problem. The connector component from the lamp starter and the lamp bulb was loose and when I removed the old bulb, it came apart and dropped into many pieces on the floor. I was particularly irritated with this because I know that I'd be the only one who can solve the problem - Poppadum has inadequate eye-power to examine the parts and his fingers aren't as nimble (He's a Bloke! Blokes do big things, not details!).

So ok I tried to fix the parts back into the component, and fixed in the new bulb, flicked the switch, and............... nothing happened.

So ok I removed the bulb, took the component out and opened it, and tweaked its insides a little, fixed the component back, fixed the bulb back, flicked the switch again, and........... again nothing happened.

So now very sian already.. then I redid the whole procedure. Then when I flicked on the switch, the bulb lit dimly..... so I suspected that the starter was old and prolly faulty.

So then I took out bulb, took out component and opened it, replaced starter, put everything back, flicked the switch, and...... still the bulb lit dimly.

Egad I was pulling my hair out. So I realised its not the starter's fault. I suspected it was the poor connection in that busted component giving the problem. So I removed everything again, opened the component and carefully studied the blasted thing. I realised it was such a poor design but that's another complaint for another day. So I gave it a major tweaking session, taped the whole blasted component, and fixed it back and fixed the bulb back.

Flicked switch, and then "Let there be Light!"

I yelled "Hurrah!!" in my heart, but my flesh and my blood was exhausted so I didn't really do it. It's no joke ok the standing on a ladder takes many muscles to control your balance so you don't tip over like Kramer. Plus the ladder rungs are so painful to stand on! Plus earlier on already did the painting while on the ladder. My heels feel so abused now. Don't play play ar..

So I paint walls, climb ladders, fix lamps. Now if I just pulled up a pair of denim overalls then I'd be The Man. I think I'd made a helluva good bloke.

Time to rest.

I am not dead.

I am back to say that I am not dead, and neither did I give up on my little sacred space of infinite self-reflection. I've just recovered from a busy period at work, so now I'm starting to let loose and reflect on the rights and the wrongs, the birds and the bees. Hmm, that didn't sound right.

Nevertheless, I'd like to share with you on what I've learnt.

I'd learnt that, if.. u binge on Indian cuisine at a celebratory meal after a busy period, u will generally get sick, and can get very sick all rather suddenly. I'm telling you this from first-hand experience so yáll better believe it. Resultingly i didn't enjoy my weekend as I was nursing a headache, a really sore throat and a nose that was partially runny and partially blocked.

The horrors of a partially runny/blocked nose - I couldn't decide whether to blow it or not. The first option would leave me with an even worse headache, and the latter would leave me with... well, a very messy face. I had to go to bed with 2 tissues rolled up and stuck into each nostril.

Well I wouldn't want to bore you with the details.

So all in all, if u had a long 3 weeks with lots of OT done, please do your health a favour and eat food that is easily digestable, non-spicy and less oily. Lest you wanna end up like moi, la dee da.

O'yes, happy 1st of February, everyone!
Good nite!!

Poser Fillers

I hate to admit it, but I think I had over-estimated my capabilities in producing the results of my secret project. Sorry to disappoint anyone following my entries (anyone at all?), but I'm quite determined not to reveal the details of my project until I have something to show.. Otherwise like to braggart lidat. I am PoserPup, not BraggratPup. So there.

How does he have the decency to degrade my artistic talent and rawr power!!

He thinks I dunno, he thinks he can get away with ravaging my dignity to shreds until there is no more of poserness left?!?!

He thinks I won't fight back, he thinks I will wallow in sorrow and be engulfed in my own world of anguish and pain?!?!

I say.

He is WRONG!!
I will fight back!!

Just you wait - you no good two-faced vermin of a...

.. pure breed Labrador canine..
(not his real picture)

Who stays next door and barks whenever I sing in the toilet..
Is my singing THAT BAD??

Hates u.

Onwards, PoserPup!

Now that it's been about a month since I settled into my position with Society of Beaming Rhinos, it is time that I DO what I have been SAYing for several weeks now - pursue my interests with my spare time.

Actually I can say that I have already started on one - that is to do up my blog. I think a blog is very important to me because its like a diary - only better. It allows me to keep track of how I have been spending my life. Little by little, my experiences may seem trivial or boring each time I write an entry. However I believe when I am old and developing rheumatism, I will enjoy reminiscing the past thru' reading my entries through the archives. On a separate note, I hope Blogger will live long and strong, since my database of entries is maintained on its server.

One thing about my personal interests is that it is sooo varied. I have sooo many interests/hobbies that I'd like to pursue but as a working professional, it's hard to commit and I feel my Achilles' heel nagging at my motivation.

Still, I don't want to live to the age of rheumatism and have nothing to show my grandchildren aside from my lame sense of humour. Thus I am quite decided to work on this new and upcoming project that is something that I have been wanting to do for YEARS............. YEARS i tell u.

This very cool project will be launched this weekend, and I will TRY MY BEST to be disciplined enough to update my progress, here, on a daily basis. I shan't elaborate on it right now because I'm really sleepy from a very looong day. Thus be prepared to see more on this very cool project in less than 48h time.

With this, I bid all of you.. bonne nuit mes amis!

Moon Bright Bright

The night sky's clear today and the moon is bright bright today.
It's really pretty 'coz the clouds are lined with a faint turquoise colour.

Attempted to take some pics of the night scene with my beloved N86 but it didn't work out. The lighting was wrecked by the nearby lamp post and it was really hard for my dear N86 to focus. Thus I gave up and deleted all the blurry shots after several attempts.

No chio pic for u tonight. Boo.

It's Pretty Damn Pretty

I had wanted to post this a week ago but I had some problems with uploading these from my beloved Nokia N86. The problem was that I left my phone-USB cable in office. lolx.

So, I was making my way to Society of Beaming Rhinos other office (we have more than 1 offices in town) for a training session some time i
n last-last week. The weather was really hot, and it was one of those mornings when I woke up on the wrong side of my bed feeling a little grouchy.

When I exited the subway and emerged at ground level, my grouch dissipated like the gentle wafts of the sun-lit mist in the morning breeze of spring.
Whatever that means.

I saw the prettiest sight I'd seen in several weeks..

Photobucket
Chio boh??

This pretty sight was the result of the heavy rainfalls flooding Bucket Timama several days back. The pic had been taken about a day after the torrential rainfalls.

With Cluck Key Subway in the backdrop..

Hope u like what I liked!
Gnight!

Relak, Saturday (Cont'd)

Tis' a bit odd that I'm updating what I done on Saturday on a Wednesday. However due to fan request (PushyPanda), I will update on what I had done on Saturday. Otherwise I will have no more credibility and no more face to continue to survive in society.

So Saturday I didn't go out and buy a cake for Poppadum.
I did some cleaning tho' but not much. I'd wanted to put on a video to watch as I worked, but eventually I got too distracted and stopped working instead (I am still proud that I had tried..).

The show that got me to stop cleaning was "You're Beautiful", korean drama. The story is similar to "Coffee Prince", but the setting is something else. Actually I'm not too impressed with the storyline. The CP actors, imo, were much better than the YB actors. Also, the lead actress in CP was cuter than the YB actress. However, cause I have a bimbiotic mind, I just watched it anyways. Think I'm just stubborn and want to quickly finish the show.

I'm not gonna provide any synopsis of the show here, k-fans can go and check it out yo' check it out.

Ok that's all I have for today's lunch time brog. Tonight if got mood will come back and brog some more.

p.s. I'm so excited this Friday is a public horridae! =D~

Relak, Saturday!

It's nice to know that you finally can have your own time, just for yourself.
It's been about 3 weeks since I left that horrid place, but I'm still appreciating the betterment from the change.

I get to sleep in without feeling the dread of having to go back to office to try and cover more work..
I come down to the living room, have a mug of strawberrie cereal with milk, and put my laundry to wash. Then I come here to facebook and blog. My windows are kept open and I can hear the birds singing in my garden and from my neighbour's trees across the lane that divides our houses. It helps a lot that I stay in landed housing as opposed to HDB. But I guess staying in HDB will also be a different kind of beauty.

After my washing, I hang out the laundry and then I watch them dance in the breeze for a while. I watch the sky to make sure the rain clouds don't look too heavy yet, and then I come back here to continue with my entry. The birds are chirping louder now, it seems like more of them had gathered on the tree across from my house.

Am thinking of what I should do today to occupy the rest of my day. Originally I had planned to meet my 2 other piglets for dindin, but today is Poppadum's bday and we're going out for dinner, so I cancelled my appointment with piglets. Perhaps I should go out and buy a cake. But Poppadum don't eat much cake. Hmm. Perhaps I should spend time cleaning up my living room. Hmm.

O well, we'll see what I had done today when my day has ended.

To be continued...

Toilet Q

My family, we are an odd group. Everyone tends to want to go to the toilet at the same time. Always the same time at 11pm. Weekends will be slightly later, 12mn.

Like when the clock strikes 11 (wkends will be 12mn), everyone starts to either have to poopoo or shower, or both. I mean, need to so zhun or not all need to go toilet at the same time? I dunno la, each of us, we always comprain when we have to wait for another to use the toilet but each of us dunno how to go and take the opportunity to shower first before the usual 11pm/12am.

So how the system works is, whoever has the worst temper gets to use the toilet first. This is not a standard coz' we take our turns to have our moody days. Thus this system of allocation can be quite fair most of the time.

I know I know, its my fault also that I am stuck in the queue. But at least, the person occupying the toilet, cepat can or not.. At least when I'm using the toilet I stick to my standard 20min. I can't be faster tho', coz each time I use the toilet I got my S.O.P. cycle to complete.

At this moment that I am brogging, I have already waited 50min in the queue for the toilet. Today Momotown is sure enjoying her nice shower. I am sticky and smelly and nodding off in front of the computar. Also, there is a big phat mozzie harassing me. I already got attacked once, please let it be only once. I hate mozzies and would go to desperate measures to eradicate them. But that is another story for another day.

ArghHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh........... this sux........

Update on: I can blog from office!

Finally I have managed to photograph my desk to prove that my desk is damn chio.

Not chio meh?

p.s. Aiyo feel so sad now, I'm supposed to be on a diet but I go and eat a full Ayam-Penyet set for lunch! Sighhh.. How much calories is that, mon. Pui.

The dangers of smoking

Today I went out for lunch with Mr X (not his real name), and Ms Y (not her real name) to have a meal (a real meal, lunch, actually) at Wholegrain Mall (not its real name). After the meal (yes, the real meal I was talking about), I mentioned to Mr X (remember this is not his real name) that I needed to go and buy something and Ms Y (remember this is also not her real name) was going together with me to the shop.

Mr X (yes correct, not real name) mentioned he will take a smoke-break and meet up with us when we were done. So Ms Y (ya not real name) and I went and did what we need to do, then we went to meet Mr X (not his real name).

When we met with Mr X (the same not real name one), we smelt a burnt paper smell and were speculating where the smell came from, and what could have been burning. Mr X (the not real the name) had quickly concluded that we should get our butts out of Wholegrain Mall asap so that we don't get cooked if there was some real cooking to be done.

With hastened steps, we swif
tly made our way to the car, and Mr X (...) deftly directed the car to the carpark exit. When we were out from the Wholegrain Mall carpark, I switched the car's ventilation mode to 'fresh' to allow fresh air to come in. Despite my efforts, the burning smell got stronger and stronger.

And that was when I noticed a steady stream of smoke emitting from Mr X's sling pouch.
"Gahhh! The smoke is from here!" I informed my company. Then next moment we were all in panic to douse the smoking sling pouch. Turns out that the smoke is being emitted from a packet of ignited tissue paper caused by a broken part of Mr X's cigarette falling into his sling pouch. The fire was fortunately manageable and no one was hurt in the accident. Everyone went home in one piece.

Poser's Penchants: Earrings' Rendezvous

People who know me will definitely know about my penchant for bling bling earrings.
Well, people who don't know me may also be able to guess that I have a penchant for bling bling earrings. Because my earrings can be very bling, and boomz. People tell me they can see my earrings from halfway across the hallway..

I used to pick up my beloved little blings from this pushcart at RiffRaff place, then I bought so many until they closed down. After my favourite bling pushcart had zap-lap (closed-down), I was a distraught soul. Didn't know where to replenish my well-worn supplies. Every day I would seek out pushcart after pushcart of bling earrings, hoping that one day I would find one selling bling earrings made of silver, or at least made with silver backing (coz I am rather allergic to all those allergenic materials). I had almost given up hope...

And then I found a sweet little pushcart at-the-uh-downstairs of my new office location!
And I snapped up 4 pairs instantly!
Aiya.. 1 pair for $9.90 and 2 pairs for $15.00. What would you do if you were me, man.

I can blog from office!

This is liberating!
I originally thought all external websites weren't accessible from this new office but then I was wrong!

No doubt they had blocked facebook from here, but then who needs facebook when I have blogger?!?!

I mean, ya la I still need facebook, but I think its serious time, to seriously build up my blog!

So my fans, about uhh.. 40..45.. 40-45.. 40454045404045 of them can be updated with my daily encounters.

Ok, to update y'all, Pollie had started work with Society of Beaming Rhino's since Monday (i.e. 2 days ago). Today's my third day here and is my first day of being late! I'd arrived 20 min late today. Blame it on the darn traffic diversion caused by the world @PECK summit. I'd asked my Poppadum to give me a ride to work today coz' was so lazy to take the public transport - and then I regretted.

So far the Society had been pampering me. My co-workers all seem damn nice, the boss seem damn nice, and the pantry damn nice (in comparison with Elephant Yoodles Inc.) and got TWO (notONEbutTWO) pantries some more. And also I finally have a DESK. I heart my desk super chio and its wide enough to put a phone, two sleek computer monitors (notONEbutTWO), a keyboard, an in/out tray, a boxed-style file holder, my name plate (I HAVE A NAME PLATE!!), and have adequate space, still, for docs and files to be laid out in front of me for working. And, i have my personal trash can. And, i have my own foot locker that i plan to stash lots of candy with.

Damn shuang.
